Networking Event for Job-seekers

LEAD – Leadership for Economical Actions & Development, a Toronto based non profit organizations, is hosting a networking event (Meet & Greet; and FREE Lunch with corporate executives) dedicated to individuals who are looking for employment. “Whether you are unemployed or looking for a better job, you must come and network with the corporate executives who are members of LEAD’s pool of mentors. They come from top tier corporations and are passionate to help members of our community in finding ‘proper jobs’” says Rizuan Rahman, the Founder President and CEO of LEAD.

This event will be the second networking event hosted by LEAD, the first one was in December 2017. Rizuan reiterated the fact that there is no alternative to networking when it comes to tapping into the hidden corporate job market. There are a lot of organizations who provide training and counseling services for job seekers, but there is a dire need of opportunities to network. LEAD is committed to address that need. LEAD, through its own network, has obtained commitments from corporate executives of many Fortune500 companies as well as other organizations, who are also passionate about helping individuals to find their dream job, based on their skills and experience. “We have just started our ambitious journey. Very soon, we will be hosting our first job fair, and also create networking opportunities for aspiring entrepreneurs. We are confident that our efforts will succeed as almost 25% of our participants got employment in corporate houses through the networking events” said Rizuan.
